Happy Monday, everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend! Here are some announcements for today:
1. Please do me a favor: If you have enjoyed this class, if you have hated this class, or if you are neutral, please take a few minutes this week to send in an evaluation. The evaluations are now open, and they will stay open until 11:00 PM on Sunday, April 27. To complete the evaluation, log in at http://eval.ou.edu. Please do me the favor of completing the evaluation; I need your feedback on what you liked and didn't like.
2. What's due today? Your responses to one another's Adopt-a-Species assignments are due by 11:00 tonight. Remember to use the response grid in the D2L discussion board to find out who you are supposed to respond to.
3. What's coming up? Your Final Thoughts are due tomorrow at noon, and then Week 14's Starting Assumptions are due tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. Yes, it's the start of the 2nd-to-last week of class! You've almost made it through!
4. Something to do if you're interested in climate change: Richard Anthes, world-renowned scientist and president of the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, will present a free, public lecture on climate change and weather patterns titled “Weather and Climate Change – Why a Few Degrees Matters” at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the National Weather Center, 120 David L. Boren Blvd., on OU's Research Campus.
5. I'm grading today....And maybe tomorrow too! I plan on starting your Adopt-a-Species assignments this afternoon and should have the grades posted either tonight or tomorrow.
That's it for today! Let me know if you have questions or concerns!
