Hi folks! I see many of you are working furiously on your Adopt-a-Species assignments--keep up the good work! For those of you who haven't started, you don't want to wait until the last minute!1. What's due today? This week's Digging Deeper is due tonight at 8:00 p.m., with comments due at 11:00 p.m. Also, you can earn 2 extra credit points for setting up your Adopt-a-Species blog and choosing your species by tonight at 11:00 (Remember to declare these points in D2L!). You can also claim your two additional bonus points if you adopt a species that is not a vertebrate (email me for these 2 points).
2. What's coming up? The entire Adopt-a-Species assignment is due Sunday night at 11:00, with comments due Monday at 11:00 p.m. (It's an unusual schedule because you must respond to specific students' blogs, as described in agonizing detail in the assignment instructions). See this past Monday's announcement for even more agonizing detail!
3. Get me out of here! If you want to drop the course, and receive an automatic W, you need to do so by tomorrow (Friday). Let me know ASAP if this is something you are considering! You can still drop the course after tomorrow, but your instructor decides whether to give you a W or an F (based on your grade in the course).
