It's Monday Again!

Good morning, all! Well, we've made it through the first Adopt-a-Species assignment relatively unscathed. Nice work!

1. What's due today? You need to respond to your classmates' A-a-S assignments tonight by 11:00 p.m. If you look at the D2L discussion board, you'll see a big ol' table (i.e. the Response Grid) that says whose blogs you are supposed to respond to. If the person you are supposed to respond to didn't post their blog, feel free to choose someone else to respond to.

2. Where do you post your responses? Each of you has your own personal forum in the D2L discussion boards this week. Let's say you're assigned to respond to Katy Sparks. Then you would go to the forum for Katy Sparks and post your response there. If you want to see what people have written about your blog, and your name is Ashley Barnett, you would go to the Ashley Barnett forum. Do NOT leave your comments at Bloglines! No one will know to look for them there; all comments belong on the discussion board at D2L.

3. What's coming up? (part 1): Your Final Thoughts for this week are due tomorrow (Tuesday) at noon to give everyone time to respond to your Adopt-a-Species assignments. Please post your Final Thoughts for your Adopt-a-Species assignment in your own personal forum, and please wait to post them until after at least two students have posted their responses to your assignment.

4. What's coming up? (part 2): Week 7's Starting Assumptions are due tomorrow at 8:00 p.m., with responses due by 11:00 p.m. This week's topic is cancer, a subject that touches nearly everyone in one way or another.

5. It's a grading day for me: I'll spend most of today grading your assignments, and will post my comments as usual in the D2L gradebook.

6. Coming soon to a mailbox near you: Instructors are supposed to turn in mid-semester grade reports today, so if you are earning a C, D, or F in a class, you will be getting a notice to that effect very soon. Not all instructors turn those reports in, but I will take care of mine.

Ok, I think that's it for today! Enjoy your day!
