Happy Saturday Everyone!!I've been reading through your posts on the discussion board (FYI: I do read all of the posts) and I'd just like to mention a few things:
1. Instructions! Be sure you thoroughly read the assignment instructions before you post to the discussion board. Part of the instructions include the assignment length: most of the assignments have length requirements and several of your posts are falling WAY short (you can check the length by using the spellcheck function in D2L). I cannot give you credit for the assignments if they do not meet the requirements. REMEMBER THE HONOR CODE: If you declare that your post has met the assignment requirement and it doesn't, that is academic misconduct.
2. Names! Most of you are doing a good job remembering to address people by their first names; however, some of you are still forgetting. Please respond to all of your posts by addressing people by their preferred name--it is part of discussion board courtesy!
3. Substantive Response! Many of the assignments require that you respond to your peers with a "substantive response." So far, you are doing a GREAT job with this! I love that you have all obviously put a lot of time and effort into responding to your peers! Keep up the good work!
Don't forget: All of the Week 1 Course Orientation assignments are due Sunday by 11:00 p.m. (that includes the declarations). Double check that all of your assignments meet the requirements and let me know if you have any questions!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
