OU classes officially begin on Tuesday, Jan. 15. Hopefully you're wrapping up your semester preparation and are ready to dive into things tomorrow! If you have a final exam today, good luck. When you're ready to get started on our class, head on over to the Weekly Schedule for the course (this can also be accessed by logging into D2L, clicking on the Bot/Mbio/Zoo1003 course link, and clicking on the Biology 1003 link at the top of the page and then clicking on Weekly Schedule). Orientation activities for the College of Arts and Sciences and for this specific course are already in full swing and are due at the end of the week. In fact, this morning I sent out the email to which you must respond as part of the course orientation. If you did not receive the message (subject: Course Orientation Email Confirmation), check your junk mail; if it's not there, please email me to let me know so we can try to figure out the problem.
Probably the most important thing you can do at this point is to select a way to receive these course announcements. There is no way we can run this course efficiently if we can't communicate with each other.
