Good morning all! Happy Thursday! I hope your reading quizzes went smoothly last evening!1. Digging Deeper assignments are due tonight! Your posts are due by 8 and your responses by 11:00. Don't forget about those substantive responses--make me proud!
2. Isn't she done harping at us? Ok, now that we've had the "substantive response discussion" it's time to move on to spellchecking and proofreading. Spellchecking is not enough (but it is a start!). I'm as guilty as the rest of you at letting spellchecker do the thinking for me--but don't! Read through your post for errors that spellcheck doesn't catch!
3. In case you forgot... I'll be out of town from Friday to Monday, and will have email access, but won't be checking it as frequently. Take a look at your Freelance Writer assignment now so you can anticipate any problems you may have.
I'm looking forward to reading your Digging Deeper assignments this evening--as an aquatic biology nut, this is one of my favorite assignments!! Today's picture (above) is one of the Ouachita Rock Pocketbook mussel, one of several endangered mussel species in Oklahoma. I'm excited to learn about the organisms you all choose to do your report on! Enjoy!
